1- Senior Java Software Engineer (101)



Job Title: Senior Java Software Engineer (101)



Job Experience required: +3 years



Job Description: Seeking a skilled senior Software Engineer Responsible for developing/maintaining Custom High Availability, Scalable and Secure Server software using Java (J2SE & J2EE). Contributes in development of integration modules with host systems, using Web-Services, Stored-Procedures, SOAP/XML…etc



Job Qualifications:



1. Excellent Object Oriented Design and Programming Skills



2. Strong command of Design Patterns



3. Familiarity with ORM frameworks, e.g. Hibernate and Custom containers e.g. Spring Framework



4. Familiarity with JDK1.5 and NIO



5. Knowledge of EJB and J2EE is an asset



6. Knowledge of C/C++ is a plus



7. Good Knowledge J2ME is a plus



8. Experience in Network and Database Applications is an asset, e.g. Sockets Programming, Web Services, RMI, SOAP messaging.



9. Familiarity with Open Source tools and standards is a plus, e.g. ANT, CVS, Cruise Control, etc …



10. Knowledge of agile software development methodologies is an asset, e.g. XP & SCRUM



11. Knowledge of operating systems other than MS Windows is an asset
