Description Develops, interprets, and implements finance and accounting concepts for planning, forecasting, internal control, and/or reporting. 2. Prepares source transactions and other accounting entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts. 3. Consults with and supports Corporate and Division Controllers and Managers, Sales, Division or Corporate Management, and cross-functional teams. 4. Develop and present recommendations for financial plans/forecasts, capital acquisitions etc, performing feasibility studies utilizing financial models and measurements, i.e. rate of return, net present value, etc. 5. Maintains books of original record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions. 6. Closes books and prepares financial statements and variance reports on a monthly/ quarterly/annual basis. 7. Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and/or utilization of accounting and or financial systems for collecting, storing, evaluating (modeling), and reporting. 8. Other responsibilities dependent upon geographic and customer needs.
Qualifications Provides accounting and financial support to ensure sound internal controls and accounting in accordance with GAAP and Mentor Graphics Corporation company policy. Analyzes financial data and trends to assist management in financial and management decision-making. Prepares recommendations for management regarding potential opportunities for current and future business directions and transactions
